Established in 2003, Mercy Street exists to cultivate mutually transforming relationships with inner-city youth through Christian mentorship. Our vision is to create a multicultural, multiethnic, multigenerational movement of God’s people that work together for his glory and the good of the city and beyond. Our traditional outreach efforts are through sports, mentoring and leadership initiatives in West and South Dallas. We are excited to welcome a new avenue for students to join us this year by attending our summer camp sessions.
Mercy Street Dallas Summer Day Camp is a faith-based program designed for Kindergarten through 5th-grade students. Our camp provides a structured balance of academic enrichment, spiritual development, and interactive activities. Campers engage in academics, Bible lessons, electives, and hands-on learning experiences, with Thursdays dedicated to field trips.
The Summer Day Camp Intern position is ideal for high school students, college students, or young adults seeking hands-on experience in youth development, education, ministry, or recreation. Interns will assist camp counselors and leadership staff in providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for campers. This role offers valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and child engagement while making a meaningful impact on young lives.
